Survey on BikerKiss.com revealed that compared to men,
women are more likely to be Harley-Davidson fans.

Motorcycle enthusiasts should be very familiar with
Harley-Davidson (commonly seen abbreviated as Harley, or H-D), the famous
American motorcycle brand. However, not many would know the fact that women are
more of Harley fans than men. In a recent survey that was completed on
BikerKiss.com, an online dating community for bikers, it was discovered that
women riders are much more attracted to Harley motorcycles than men on average.
Around
3,000 members on this biker dating site, comprising
approximately 1,900 men and 1,100 women, took the survey. When asked "is
Harley your favorite motorcycle brand", the percentage of female members
who said yes (31%) was much higher than male members (19%). Why? As BikerKiss
kept digging deeper, a few main reasons emerged.
The
most common answer to the question is that Harley motorcycles are always
gorgeous and expensive, so it's awesome to be on one. The fact that women like
beauty once again applies here. "I love it when I am on a Harley. It gives
you all the attention you want." a gold member Sarah, expressed her own
opinion. "But it's not about being pretentious or anything, or like I'm
doing it out of vanity. I just love it deep down."
Another
reason came as kind of unexpected, and a little bit awkward. According to the
answers BikerKiss collected,
women are sometimes likely to get orgasm while riding on Harley because the vibration
on a running Harley is very strong.
Also,
women like Harley not only because it's about riding. It is a lifestyle. Harley
has long been associated with the sub-cultures of the biker, motorcycle clubs,
and outlaw motorcycle clubs. "It is about a life that only bikers would
understand."
